The Directors appointed Essex PropertiesLimited as managing agents for the management company in October 2007. I am a Director of an RTM Company. Essex Properties helped us to set up this company when we found as tenants that we could no longer deal with the freeholders managing agents. The development had suffered from serious disorganization and was a classic example of mismanagement with high service charges and nothing to be seen for what tenants were supposedly paying for, ie. no window cleaning, poor gardening and cleaning, no upkeep of fire maintenance records. Etc.

I have had previous experience of dealing with Essex Properties in my capacity as a Property Paralegal within one of the largest firms of Solicitors in Essex and was therefore aware that they had dealt with major builders and developers within the county, being responsible for managing many developments successfully.

My experience of them has always been positive, with an eye for detail and a practical approach to problems commonly faced by developments. they have many contacts and always seek to find the most sensible quote from recommended sources.
